If the plan goes through,
RESIDENTS AND NATURE WILL SUFFER!
It will very likely

  • consume large areas of green space for all foreseeable future that is supposed to be protected

  • virtually connect the two villages which both parishes seek to avoid

  • kill a large number of healthy adult trees and hedges with compensation maybe miles away, many of which are loved just as much as the Sycamore Gap Tree

  • reduce space for wildlife and biodiversity

  • cut off residents from land that is public today

  • mean disruption, noise and dirt during construction

  • strain our roads and residents with additional traffic forever

  • generate additional noise and light

  • be built on the speculation that the Wycombe Wanderers will succeed in their ambitions and not succumb to uncontrollable events

  • all with no proven benefit for the local community
