WWFC Application Information Hub
Planning application PL/26/07779/FA
16. Write and submit your own comment
Anyone can comment
No matter where you live or whether you are involved in the building project.
You do not need to write an essay
There is no requirement to cover the whole application.
Choose the issues that matter to you, explain why they matter, and add any personal knowledge or experience that helps the Council understand the effect of the proposal.
A short, specific and genuine representation can be more useful than several pages repeating every possible objection.
Make it your own
Briefly explain your connection with the site or area.
Perhaps you live nearby, play golf there, walk across the site, use Farnham Park, drive the surrounding roads or simply know the area well.
Then say:
-
what concerns you;
-
what you think would change;
-
why that matters;
-
and what you would like the Council to do.
You can use facts and arguments from this Information Hub, but there is no need to copy our wording.
Personal experience can be important evidence
If you currently use the site, tell the Council.
And if the proposed replacement facilities would change whether or how you use it, say so.
That is particularly relevant because the application itself relies upon claims of increased participation, wider accessibility and greater future use.
For example:
“I have regularly used the 18-hole golf course, but the proposed replacement would not provide the type of golf for which I use the site and I do not expect to continue using it.”
If many existing users independently report the same likely effect, that is relevant evidence when the claimed planning benefit depends upon predictions of increased future use.
How to send your submission?

If you wish, BCC a copy to Stoke Poges Task Force
When you send your representation to Buckinghamshire Council by email, you can also BCC a copy to SPTF:
This is entirely optional.
We are not collecting comments in order to approve them, assess their quality or tell people what they should have written. We will not publish individual representations, quote from them or comment on them.
The purpose is simply to help us understand the overall response to the application and compile anonymous, aggregated information, for example:
-
approximately how many representations have been submitted;
-
which broad issues are being raised most often;
-
how many respondents identify themselves as existing users of the site;
-
and, where people say so, whether they expect to continue using the proposed replacement facilities.
Your individual submission remains your own. SPTF is interested only in the overall picture.
If you BCC us rather than CC us, the Council and other recipients will not see the SPTF email address in your message.
We will use copies received in this way only for this purpose and will not publish or circulate your personal details or individual representation.
